Building on the legacy established in the Clearwater Greek Orthodox community 50 years ago, Holy Trinity is a mix of both honored traditions and a bold new vision. The master plan for the campus includes renovations for the sanctuary itself , the adjacent Matheos Hall community center, and Papadi educational center. The design for the church was inspired by Byzantine architectural forms, based on a cross-plan topped by a dramatic dome hovering 65 feet above the church center. Although the church is predominantly a new structure, care was taken to preserve the existing mosaic iconography designs from the original structure built in the 1960s, incorporating these elements into a new chapel and iconostasis. A balcony level provides additional seating in the choir loft.
